Medium to very coarse sand and coarse gravel, with cobbles, boulders and blocks. Local loam or clay, especially at the top, coarse sand lenses.

Fluvial (western Meuse).

Definitie ondergrens

Sharp contact with various Neogene, Paleogene, Cretaceous and Paleozoic units. Locally incised into St. Geertruid Member (Beegden Formation).

Definitie bovengrens

Locally exposed at the surface. Commonly, sharp contact with periglacial aeolian and local river loam and sand (Boxtel Formation). Locally incised by Caberg, Rothem or ‘s Gravenvoeren Members (Beegden Formation).
