Within the H3O programme, the H3O-De Voorkempen Project is the 5th project that has been realised. The project is named after the Belgian area known as De Voorkempen.
In cooperation with Dutch and Belgian partners, the Geological Survey of the Netherlands has produced a three-dimensional (hydro)geological subsurface model. This 3D model shows the (hydro)geology of the subsurface in the border area between West Brabant (Netherlands) and De Voorkempen (Belgium). The datasets of this model can be downloaded via this page.
The project started 17 February 2020 and concluded with a webinar on 28 September and a field trip in the border area on 29 September 2023. During the webinar ‘H3O-De Voorkempen: new insights into and applications of interregional subsurface models’ on 28 September, the project results were presented.
